MiDOG analyzes microbial DNA directly from a submitted sample, providing broader detection and quantification of bacterial and fungal organisms alongside antimicrobial resistance insights. About the Speaker
Dr. Jeff Tinsley earned his undergraduate degree in biological science from the University of Georgia and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in 2017. He completed a small-animal rotating internship at BluePearl in San Antonio before pursuing advanced training in veterinary dermatology at Animal Dermatology Clinic in Louisville, Kentucky.
During his time at Animal Dermatology Clinic, Dr. Tinsley helped manage complex skin, ear, and allergy-related conditions that can significantly affect an animal’s comfort and quality of life. His passion for dermatology is rooted in helping patients find meaningful relief while supporting the people who care for them.
Dr. Tinsley is also committed to mentorship and greater representation within the veterinary profession. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys CrossFit, running with his dog, Renly, cooking, and exploring local restaurants.
