Multiple times, MiDOG results have helped steer our staff in making informed decisions about some of our animals’ quality of life and whether or not it was beneficial to move forward/continue with treatment in light of the entire clinical picture. One these cases prompted further isolation of the potential pathogen for the particular fish species in which it was found and challenged conversations about host capability, pathogenicity, etc in the local community. We’ve really enjoyed the affordability and accessibility of information that MiDOG has provided thus far.
